Born in 1941 in the humble village of Manalurpetai in Villupuram district, our visionary leader, M.E. Jamaludeen, has been the driving force behind the success of the JBA Group. Under his leadership, the JBA Group has flourished with a clear mission: to expand its business worldwide while delivering innovative, high-quality, and cost-effective products to customers. With over 40 years of expertise in the broken glass industry and 30 years in steel and scrap trading, his experience and insights have been instrumental in shaping the JBA Group into the powerhouse it is today.

Mr.Haji M.E.Jamaludeen's career is a testament to resilience and forward-thinking leadership:
- In the 1950s, he began with small-scale trading ventures in Chennai, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit at an early stage.
- The 1970s saw him diversify into granite exports and broken glass manufacturing, paving the way for his multifaceted business ventures.
- In 1984, he became one of only nine entrepreneurs in Tamil Nadu to secure a lease for the black granite quarry from the Tamil Nadu government, an honor that underlined his pioneering influence in the region.
- His foray into the steel industry began in 1988 with the establishment of JBA’s first rolling mill in Pondicherry, laying the foundation for a steel manufacturing legacy.
- In 2011, his exemplary contributions to societal welfare earned him the prestigious Kotai Amir Award, presented by the late Honorable CM Karunanidhi on Republic Day—a testament to his impact beyond business.
